Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the Pasta: Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet used for the chicken, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Combine and Serve: Slice the cooked chicken into strips. Add the drained pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat. Arrange the sliced chicken on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes:
For extra flavor, you can add sautéed mushrooms or spinach to the Alfredo sauce.
