Cedar Plank Salmon

Ingredients:
- 1 cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Ensure the soaked cedar plank is ready to use.
- Prepare the Salmon: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Brush the salmon fillets with the mixture, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place on Cedar Plank: Place the salmon fillets on the soaked cedar plank, skin-side down. Place the plank directly on the grill.
- Grill the Salmon: Close the grill lid and cook for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The cedar plank will impart a smoky flavor to the fish.
- Serve: Remove the cedar plank from the grill and carefully transfer the salmon to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped dill and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour to prevent it from catching fire on the grill. You can add a splash of white wine or lemon juice to the water for extra flavor.
