Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Prepare the Breading Station: In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Place the beaten eggs in a second shallow dish, and the breadcrumbs in a third dish.
- Bread the Chicken: Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, then coat it with breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.
- Heat the Oil: In a large frying pan, heat enough oil over medium-high heat to submerge the chicken nuggets. The oil is ready when a breadcrumb sizzles and turns golden within a few seconds.
- Fry the Nuggets: Carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Drain and Serve: Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes:
For a healthier alternative, you can bake the chicken nuggets in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. You can also add some Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor.
